Minister Carrol Watson

Carroll Benefield-Watson

Born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, FL to Elders Amos and Mary Jo Benefield, Elder Carroll is the oldest of five children, and the mother of three sons. Her passion for people and their emotional health was recognized in the primitive stages of her life. As a result, she pursued the study of Psychology at Paine College and the University of Maryland.

Carroll is currently a Vice President and Store Manger at one of the country's top financial institutions. She exercises her expertise by educating others on the fundamentals of building their finances and the road to debt recovery. She is also the Vice President of a highly effective women’s organization, Sisters Empowering Sisters Inc., which helps women bring wholeness and restitution to their finances, businesses, education, mental health, relationships and families. She passionately focuses her directives to help hurting women on every level, whom she believes are the pillars of family structures and societal stability.

As a Breast Cancer Survivor, she shares her testimony with many across the nation– she was diagnosed with DCIS (Ductal Carcinoma In Situ) in its [non-invasive] 3rd stage. Her doctor avidly asserted that at any time the cancer could have emerged from its ducts, become invasive, and spread throughout her entire body. Carroll credits the miracle of early detecting for her survival. She believes that if her testimony can help one life be saved by early detection, then the sparing of her life was not in vain.
